The official timekeeper of the World Motorcycle Championship since 2001, as with this model, the Swiss brand introduces a series of watches inspired by the competition each year.
In the wake of the 2022 steel versions with their stylish bezels featuring the striated pattern of a motorcycle tire, Tissot is presenting a new interpretation of its sporty chronograph in MotoGP colors to mark the start of the season. For the new T-Race MotoGPTM 2023 Limited Edition, each and every aesthetic detail contributes to embodying the spirit of the race. The graphic design consisting of discs with red accents and three XL-sized numerals in white Super-LumiNova® takes its inspiration from the dials of the supercharged motorcycles. The bezel at the level of the crown bears the design of a brake disc. As for the push-buttons, they are inspired by the handlebars and the engine’s cooling fins. This composition is housed in a 45mm diameter steel case with a black physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating.
All the hands, including the 1/10th of a second time measurement, are powered by a precise Swiss Made quartz movement with an end of life (EOL) function. The EOL system allows the owner of the watch to recognize when it is time to change the battery. The second hand will start jumping by 4 units, informing that the battery is running low. Each watch in this limited-edition of 8,000 units comes with a comfortable, vibrant red rubber wristband with a pin buckle. To please adrenaline-seeking enthusiasts, all T-Race MotoGPTM2023 Limited Editions come in an original helmet-shaped storage box.
