LET’S GROOVE
Summer is not over yet! In order to prolong the more festive of the seasons, the German manufacturer created new editions of its chronograph with elegant, luminous, and intense lines.
The 1970s marked the awakening of bold, tangy colors. During this summer period, Glashütte Original came up with the great idea of offering us a trip to this exciting era with two limited editions of its Seventies Chronograph Date Panorama produced in 100 pieces each. Their respective dials feature shimmering hues. The matte lacquered light blue of the Disco Blue accentuates the already singular personality of this watch with its square steel case measuring 40 x 40mm with rounded corners. The second variation Vibing Orange is energized by its warm color. Whichever composition suits you best, you will find all the information specific to that timepiece. The measurement of short times is displayed via the central seconds hand, the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and the 12-hour counter placed in its arched aperture at 12 o’clock. To balance out the display, the small seconds and the power reserve indicator are positioned at 9 o’clock. The large date rounds it off at 6 o’clock.
All of the time data, as well as the pair of Super-LumiNova® coated hands, are precisely orchestrated by the caliber 37-02 with a silicon balance spring. This self-winding movement enjoys a comfortable autonomy of 70 hours. To match any style, these sporty chic watches can be worn either on a rubber or metal wristband. Thus, the Seventies Chronograph Date Panoramagrooves just like the famous funk band Earth, Wind & Fire.
