SENSATIONS GALORE
These ever-so stylish, ever-so practical dive watches boast everything it takes to explore the Deep Blue and to accompany you on a daily basis for your social and professional events.
Ulysse Nardin’s attraction for the marine world is nothing new. The manufacture was already proposing its dive watches some 40 years ago, back in the 60s. Since then, its models have forever evolved in line with technical advances and stylistic trends. In 2020, the Diver embraces the brand’s entire savoir-faire and respects incredibly-strict specifications. To ensure every underwater excursion is totally safe, the timepiece needs to be waterproof to depths of 100 m which calls for the existence of a screwed crown. The rotating bezel has to be unidirectional and adorned with a graduated dive scale covering at least 30 minutes. Time data must be perfectly readable. An indicator like, for example, the central direct-drive is used to inform the wearer-diver that the movement is working correctly, movement which must be antimagnetic.
All these features are of course present in the Diver which nestles in a 42 mm-diameter steel case whose waterproofness is certified to under-ocean depths of 300 meters. The hours and minutes, driven by a selfwinding caliber, the UN-816, can be read instantly on the black- or blue-hued dial. Vintage-style beige touches and the GPS coordinates of the town of Le Locle, the manufacture’s cradle since 1846, boost the identity of this watch cut out for adventure even more.
All Diver references, perfectly at home in aquatic realms as well as in bustling urban spaces, are proposed with a choice of blue fabric or black calfskin straps or metallic or Milanese mesh bracelets, whichever suits your style and mood best.
