The celebrated island sitting in the Bay of Naples has constantly been a source of inspiration. To pay tribute to its incomparable personality, Bulgari has unveiled a limited 1,000-piece edition, center staging a host of blues; the sky blues and Tyrrhenian Sea blues that surround it. The dial of the Aluminium Capri Solotempo watch takes on magnificent gradient tones that vary from delicate azure to abyssal, dusky hues. The tri-compax-positioned chronograph counters and small seconds feature on top. Their hands are adorned with a yellow color that dazzles like the sun’s rays. This ensemble is hovered over by a duo of hour and minute hands tipped with Super-LumiNova®. Timekeeping is performed with the help of two traditional pushers incorporated in the case middle.
This delightful summery scenography reigns in a 40 mm-diameter aluminum case topped with a bezel and complemented by a strap clasped by a pin buckle, both fashioned in matching-colored rubber. The back of this case, waterproof to depths of 100 meters, showcases an engraving illustrating the well-known, erosion-sculpted Faraglioni rock formations, close to the island. This timepiece’s data is driven wonderfully-well by the B130 caliber. This selfwinding movement delivers a power reserve of some 42 hours.
