Born from a partnership between the two Italian companies, this limited series of 1000 watches presents aesthetic elements that will delight the admirers of beautiful mechanisms.
Founded in 1926, Ducati epitomizes the passion for motorcycles in the Italian tradition. The collaboration initiated with Bulgari marks the beginning of a common history, the first chapter of which takes the form of the Aluminium Chronograph Ducati Special Edition. This watch bears the emblematic color of the transalpine manufacturer. On this intense shade of red, three inclined numerals, 10, 11, 12, suggest those of a speedometer. All in bold black, just like the totalizers and the small seconds in the tricompax position, they stand out perfectly against the dial. The dynamic composition ensures optimal legibility while further enhancing the sporty personality of the timepiece.
The choice of material also contributes to the aesthetics of this series. Thus, the 40mm diameter aluminum case is fully waterproof to a depth of 100 meters and is combined with a black rubber bezel adorned with a “Bulgari Bulgari” engraving, push-buttons, and a crown in titanium trimmed with diamond light coating (DLC). The case is also completed with a wristband made of rubber. As for the mechanics, the data, the time interval measurements, and the date in an aperture at 4:30 are powered by the BVL 130 caliber. This self-winding mechanism provides over 42 hours of autonomy. In order to underscore the exclusive character of the timepiece, the case back features the Ducati logo and the serial number. This limited edition is packaged in a special presentation case made of the same material as the box.
