ARCEAU LE TEMPS VOYAGEUR Hermès

ARCEAU LE TEMPS VOYAGEUR Hermès

A STROLL AROUND THE WORLD

Introduced earlier this year, the Parisian Maison’s watch, a true invitation to discover new territories, unveils this fall a white mother-of-pearl face curved with a diamond ribbon.

As a gateway to the outside world, a hand stretched out towards the other, travel is essential to open your mind. It promises rich experiences, beautiful encounters and wonderful discoveries. For Hermès, travel is second nature, and the horse embodies the mount that has been part of its identity since the company was founded in 1837. The Arceau Le temps voyageur is the expression of these two worlds in one. This exclusive series has been expanded to include a version in light iridescent tones, as bright as a snowflake.

The famous watch with its asymmetrical attachments has a steel body with a diameter of 38mm and a bezel set with 78 diamonds. Its face is adorned with a reproduction of the “Planisphere of an equestrian world”, an imaginary world where the horse is king. Made of white mother-of-pearl on which the meridians have been transferred, the oceans border the continents in relief. A satellite counter, also in mother-of-pearl, indicates the hours and minutes thanks to two blued hands pointing to “galloping” numbers, the aesthetic signature of the Arceau collection. It can be moved from city to city, from winter time to summer time, by simply pressing the button on the case middle. No need to look for Paris on the silver ring: the capital has been renamed 24 FBG, the historic Hermès address. At 12 o’clock, a fan-shaped aperture displays the home time, which can be adjusted by the crown. The self-winding manufacture caliber H1837, complemented by an exclusive module, drives these time functions while delivering 40 hours of power reserve once fully wound.
