ALPINE PLEASURES
The Nyon-based watchmaker celebrates the highest ski area in Europe with two special numbered editions that are just as exclusive as the village surrounded by 38 peaks rising to over 4,000 meters.
Zermatt, nestling at the foot of the Matterhorn, is a must-go destination for ski lovers looking for super-quality snow and fabulous immaculately-white panoramas. Hublot exalts this Swiss emblem for a new limited series focusing on a duo of watches, one masculine, one feminine. Both Big Bang All Black Zermatt pieces boast the same monochrome style. The first, proposed in 100 pieces, takes on the features of a 44 mm-diameter chronograph, the second, available in 50 pieces, flaunts its 41 mm. Both embrace a sturdy, light ceramic case that protects the large hour and minute hands topped with black Super-Luminova®.
The models, which are similar in appearance, can be distinguished however thanks to a handful of differences such as the applique portrayal of the legendary summit, set in the small seconds at 9 o’clock for one and in the counter at 3 o’clock for the other. This timepiece designed for elegant wrists center stages stone-setting on its bezel comprising 36 black diamonds totaling 1.80 carats. Eight of the same precious gems replace the traditional indexes on the dial.
These two references are driven by selfwinding movements. The HUB4100 and HUB4300 calibers deliver a power reserve of some 42 hours. The Big Bang All Black Zermatt duo is worn on a comfortable black rubber and grey calfskin strap attached by a folding clasp. Perfect for accompanying you in tip-top conditions on all the slopes of the famous Swiss resort!
