THE FALCON’S FLIGHT
The Parisian watch brand, which is very familiar with the aerial world, is continuing its flight with its sporty collection unveiled in 2019 by welcoming a new chronograph placed under the sign of the falcon.
In 2019, before the covid hit the world, Bell & Ross unveiled a collection of watches with a sporty character, less labeled “air force” than the products that made its reputation such as the BR 03, BR V2 or BR-X1, but still bearing all the visual signatures dear to the Parisian brand. Two years later, the latter presents a new opus called BR 05 Chrono White Hawk, a watch placed under the sign of the white hawk with a spirit as sharp as it is timeless.
Playing with geometry, the 42mm wide machined steel case is neither round nor square, but a clever blend of the two that creates a striking personality. Its screw-down crown is framed by a pair of protective posts that extend the two pushers dedicated to the chronograph function and perfectly integrated into the case middle. As for the back, it reveals a sapphire crystal window on which is stamped the metalized head of a falcon. The piercing effigy reveals the dance of the oscillating weight of the BR-CAL.301 automatic caliber (42-hour power reserve).
The white opaline dial is curved with indexes whose shape is repeated on the central hour and minute hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. The small second is indicated at 3 o’clock and the date in a bubble at 4:30. From this lactescent decoration, two vermilion touches measure the short time spans: the large second hand and the 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock.
The BR 05 Chrono White Hawk is worn with an integrated bracelet made of steel links or grooved black rubber with a folding clasp.
