In the wake of the Carrera X Porsche RS unveiled to mark the 50th anniversary of the 911 RS 2.7, the Carrera Porsche Chronograph Orange Racing heralds a new chapter in the partnership between the Stuttgart-based company and TAG Heuer. This special edition stands out thanks to its colorful combination. The bright orange applied to certain elements energizes a black dial with a satin finish, ringed by an hour circle composed of Arabic numerals coated with white Super-Luminova®. This high-contrast, ultra-sporty design is housed in a 44mm-diameter steel case with black DLC coating, water-resistant to 100 meters. A fixed ceramic bezel embellished with a tachymeter scale completes a look resolutely inspired by the world of speed.
The hour and minute hands, the ¼-second short time measurement, and the date located at 6 o’clock, are powered by a high-performance self-winding movement, supplying 80 hours of power reserve. The Heuer 02 caliber is partially exposed through the sapphire back of the case. The three-spoke steering wheel-shaped oscillating weight and the orange column wheel of the chronograph are also visible. The elegant Carrera Porsche Chronograph Orange Racing watch is worn on a carbon textured calf leather wristband fastened with a folding clasp. The stitching and lining are of a warm color perfectly complementing the interior of the legendary German GT cars. Ready to burn rubber?
