CHRONOMASTER REVIVAL SAFARI Zenith

CHRONOMASTER REVIVAL SAFARI Zenith

GOING GREEN

Impossible to overlook this year, the chlorophyll color is making its way onto our dials. The watchmaker from Le Locle presents an attractive sporty variation with this chronograph.

For the past two years, Zenith has continued to celebrate its 50th anniversary El Primero caliber with a salvo of limited editions featuring the aesthetics and ergonomics of the historic 1970s steel models. Even though the casing of the new Chronomaster Revival Safari retains the 1969 original 37mm diameter of the A384 reference with its piston-type pushers, its material, titanium, robust and light, it is thoroughly contemporary, as are the colors selected. Thus, its dial takes on a matte green hue with multiple shades, highly fashionable this year. The chronograph’s counters and the small seconds in black in the tricompax position stand out perfectly on this face. The openworked hands and hour markers are also coated with beige Super-LumiNova® to ensure optimal legibility in any lighting conditions. This camouflage mode composition is ringed by a tachymeter scale on the bezel.

The sapphire backing of the casing provides an opportunity to discover the workings of this mechanism, in particular its oscillating mass. This self-winding movement provides a power reserve of at least 50 hours.

Suitable for all modern adventures, the Chronomaster Revival Safari is worn on a comfortable khaki-colored rubber and cordura strap, closed with a pin buckle.
