A NEW HORIZON
The brand based in Le Locle continues to reach for the stars by presenting a new interpretation of its avant-garde collection consisting of three steel models equipped with a high frequency movement.
Years may go by, they do not look alike for Zenith. On the contrary, the rhythm intensifies as when a plane takes off to reach the clouds and get closer to the stars. If the brand based in Le Locle ended 2021 on a high note, 2022 promises to be just as exciting, starting with the launch of Defy Skyline, a name that sounds like the promise of a tomorrow and embodies a new horizon.
Inspired by the eponymous collection born in 1902, renamed in 1969 and modernized in 2016 with some of its features redesigned in line with today’s codes, this product group consists of three three-hand models with date – silver ivory, midnight blue and deep black – with a strong personality and undeniable mechanical performance.
Overall observation: the Defy Skyline is impossible to classify it in a category because it ticks several boxes simultaneously. Sporty when worn on a secondary strap in textured rubber that can be detached in a flash and replaced by metal links, classic with its sleek 41mm steel case that even has a little vintage touch thanks to its 12-sided angular bezel, chronometric because it is powered by the automatic El Primero 3520 caliber (5hz and 60 hours of power reserve), poetic with its face covered with stars distributed in a checkerboard pattern, unisex because it fits any type of wrist, dynamic under the impulse of the counter that lets the 1/10th of a second hand twirl in total freedom.
