DUBAI CONNECTION
This superbly-styled, high-tech sporty-spirited edition celebrates the most well-known watch retailer established along the Arabian peninsula since the middle of the 20th century.
Since the 1950s, the Seddiqi family has enjoyed a special rapport with the watchmaking world. Through its stores in the Middle East, it has introduced more than 60 leading brands including Ulysse Nardin. To pay tribute to the great bond that exists between the distributor and the manufacture, the latter has chosen to prepare a pre-launch of its Diver X Skeleton Seddiqi Edition limited series. The first ten pieces are, as such, reserved for the boutique in Dubai. This timepiece, boasting an up-to-the-minute face from the brand, comes from the fusion of the dive watch Diver and Blast Skeleton. This series stands out with its X-shaped central composition adorned with yellow edging and its Seddiqi blue rubber strap.
Like all the references in the collection, the Diver X Skeleton Black Seddiqi Edition features a 44 mm-diameter titanium case, waterproof to depths of 200 meters. The case is topped with a unidirectional rotating bezel covered with a disc fashioned in black Carbonium®. The hour and minute hands are driven by the skeletonized UN-372 caliber assembled using 171 components including an ultra-large silicon oscillator. This selfwinding movement, beating at a rhythm of 21,600 vibrations an hour, offers considerable autonomy: 96 hours’ power reserve.
One hundred and sixty-five other pieces, available around the world, are proposed this year. All are complemented by a matching yellow rubber strap that enhances the watch’s sporty look even more.
