DIVERS DATE Oris

DIVERS DATE Oris

OCEANIC HUES

The independent Hölstein-based manufacture invites to discover a new array of attractive colors and boosts the performance of its appealing vintage-looking dive watch.

With these novel Divers Date pieces, Oris rolls out much more than just a simple stylistic upgrade of its model first released some 60 years ago. Back in 2015, the Divers Sixty-Five, boasting nostalgia-filled personality and driven by an up-to-the-minute caliber, already enthralled us. The latest iterations to date are infused with its codes yet feature enhanced waterproofness. The 39 mm-diameter steel case variation now flaunts resistance to depths of 200 meters versus 100 meters previously. This harmoniously-proportioned holder is topped by a domed sapphire crystal and a unidirectional bezel with ceramic insert adorned with a practical scale for underwater excursions.

In addition to the can’t-do-without black, two unprecedented shades feature on the dials. One goes for a fascinating resolutely-deep steel teal tone mixing hints of blue, green, and gray. The other dresses up in a beige that’s incredibly soft. No matter the chromatic option you choose, the white Super-LumiNova®-coated hands and markers contrast wonderfully well and ensure time data can be read easily under any conditions of light. These features as well as the date nestling at 6 o’clock continue to be driven by the selfwinding 733 caliber, which delivers a power reserve of 41 hours. These Divers Date are worn on a metal bracelet or on a complementary rubber strap included in the presentation box. The quick-change system means you can swap for one or the other anytime, anywhere. Style and versatility definitely guaranteed.
