REMARKABLE POINT
This trio expands the Gentleman range of the Le Locle based brand. What makes them special? Having a larger display on the dial, a contemporary look, and a state-of-the-art mechanism.
Revealing without being overly showy. Such is the distinctive nature of the Open Heart watches. The challenge is particularly successful with the new Gentleman Open Heart. Tissot introduces a modern alternative to the Tradition Powermatic 80 Open Heart models. Three different dial variations with a luminous hue are offered: grey, silver, and dark blue. All are distinctive thanks to a larger opening at 12 o’clock, in the shape of an inclined figure 8, in which the couple composed of the balance wheel and the escapement are revealed. A circular grained design highlights these elements. On this eye-catching composition, SuperLuminova® coated hour and minute hands point to an hour circle consisting solely of hour markers coated with the same luminescent material. The slim swift seconds hand provides a precise timer.
The uncluttered layout makes the time information easy to read. These movements are driven by the Powermatic 80 caliber integrated into a steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 11.50mm thick. This self-winding model with a non-magnetic NivachronTM balance spring has a comfortable power reserve of 80 hours. The sapphire case back enables viewing other parts of this high-performance mechanism, in particular its oscillating weight. To further emphasize the contemporary and elegant personality of the Gentleman Open Heart, each version comes with a metal wristband. As in yoga, opening your heart in watchmaking holds its virtues!
