AN ARCHETYPE OF SEDUCTION
Subtlety defines the watchmaking creations of the Parisian manufacturer. This innovative development underscores its propensity to captivate the eye, making luxury a desirable proposition.
Inspired by the vision of Philippe Delhotal, Director of the Creation and Development Department of Hermès since 2021, the H08 watch unveils its versatile personality with each new variation. This latest version combines rose gold with black diamond-like carbon (DLC) treated titanium to emphasize its refined style, courtesy of this pertinent choice of material. On its finely grained monochrome dial, one encounters the singular hour circle composed of numbers bearing the original font. The 8 stands out due to its stirrup-like silhouette; an allusion to the equestrian world that is so dear to the Parisian brand. A discreet date window blends into the airy design located at 4:30.
This minimalist, geometric arrangement enhanced by the precious material and illuminated by Super-Luminova® coating aptly complements the fluid lines of the 39 x 39mm cushion-shaped case. As well, every detail contributes to the harmonious visual effect, notably the oblique satin finish of the bezel and the vertical surface of the case. Combined with either a rubber wristband or a black and anthracite strap, the watch is distinctly contemporary and masculine, as well as sporty and chic. The pair of hour and minute hands along with the counterweighted second hand are driven with precision by the manufacturer’s caliber H1837 finished by Vaucher. This self-winding movement provides 45 hours of power reserve to this model. With this new H08, Hermès continues its atypical, elegant perception of time.
