THE ESSENTIAL WITH STYLE
The watchmaker from Immer gives one of its attractive models from the Heritage collection a subtle new interpretation in shades of black and anthracite grey.
The elegance of segmented dials, in vogue in the 1930s, is back on our wrists in 2019 with the arrival of the Heritage Classic watch by Longines. Inspired by the design of historical timepieces originating from the Art Deco period, the original graphic composition, here in a two-tone silvered scenography, is displayed in a 38.5mm diameter steel casing 11mm thick.
This year, the winged hourglass brand offers an attractive variation, combining a black center with an anthracite hour ring. On the top, the Arabic numerals and the white painted hour-markers are highlighted by the pair of very fine hour and minute hands. This refined composition ensures excellent legibility of the time display. As with the previous model, a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock brings the lower part of the watch to life. Essentiality is at the service of efficiency!
All the data is powered by the latest generation caliber, the L893, running at 25,200 vibrations per hour, with a silicon balance spring insensitive to the effects of magnetic fields. This powerful automatic movement provides 72 hours of power reserve to the timepiece when fully wound.
The Heritage Classic is accompanied by a choice of two wristbands. One is a very supple “grain of rice” type metal bracelet with alternating brushed and polished links for a sporty look. The other, more versatile, in cognac-colored leather is ideal for a dressy or casual chic style.
