THE WATCH WITH TWO FACES
This new limited edition of 999 timepieces is the latest in a series of daring watches endowed with a dual personality. The choice is yours: heads or tails?
Exactly a decade ago, Hamilton took the world by surprise with its original Face 2 Face model. In addition to its oval shape and its XL dimensions of 57mm x 44mm, the watch boasts a distinctive, impressive case in which the module articulates. Its rotation allows changing the face of the watch with ease. This year, the brand unveils a 3rd opus in a limited series endowed with the same multi-faceted spirit. This is the Jazzmaster Face 2 Face III, complete with a brown patent leather wristband closed by a folding clasp. The effect is once again amazing thanks to this double personality: sporty and ultra-classic!
On the tail side, the hours and minutes appear on an anthracite openworked dial. The chronograph times can be read off by means of the traditional dedicated sub-dials. In their respective windows, the day and date are displayed according to their rhythm. The blue of the second hand and the counter at 6 o’clock energize this relief-like scenography. On the head side, two scales ring the perimeter. One, a tachymeter, allows measuring speed, the other, a pulsometer, allows tracking a person’s pulse. A slim needle indicates the data, hovering over the mechanism integrated into the steel case, all rounded, with a diameter of 44mm and a thickness of 17.25mm. All time information is powered by the H-41 caliber. The self-winding movement delivers 60 hours of power reserve. Many of its elements, including its oscillating weight, are thus laid bare. The surprise is absolute.
