EVERMORE POWERFUL
Enhance water-resistance, ceramic-crafted unidirectional rotating bezel, boosted legibility: Hamilton’s diver invites to broaden our horizons, on land and, of course, at sea.
Last year, Hamilton sailed across the oceans with an armada of dive watches boasting a 40 mm diameter and featuring a host of technical and stylistic assets. This spring, the Swatch Group brand unveils an upgrade with heightened faculties. The Khaki Navy Scuba now takes on a 43 mm-diameter case, waterproof to depths of 300 m versus 100 m for previous versions. The size gain offers the watchmaker the opportunity to infuse the piece with more airy time-data scenography. As such, the hour chapter now alternates triangular and circular indexes, all coated with Super-LumiNova®. Readability is optimal under any conditions of light. What’s more, this timepiece comes with a novel bezel colored to match the dial and crafted, this time round, in ceramic. Future wearers can choose between black and blue. And, the calendar, present on the 2020 model, has disappeared.
The hour and minute hands as well as the central direct-drive are driven by the H-10 caliber. This selfwinding movement delivers a generous power reserve of around 80 hours. This cutting-edge mechanical device stands out with its balance-spring in NivachronTM, a titanium-based alloy immune to magnetic fields and to temperature change.
To go with the flow of city life or as a faithful companion for underwater excursions, the Khaki Navy Scuba comes complete with a choice of steel bracelet or comfortable rubber strap.
