THE ESSENCE OF ELEGANCE
Ignoring the fashion and standing the test of time without compromising its unique character: Chopard succeeds once again with a new refined version.
Not wishing to follow this year’s color trends, Chopard is offering a variation of its L.U.C Quattro finished with a new shade of dial. The purpose? To provide an overall appeal that is both formal and eccentric at the same time. Launched in 2000 then redesigned in 2018, this edition has gained even more personality with a gray-green coloring highlighted with a vertical satin finish and combined with a slim white gold case just 8.84 mm thick and 43 mm in diameter. In this exclusive design, the dauphine-style hour and minute hands point to a pared-down railroad-style minute circle mainly composed of index markers and punctuated with two large Arabic numerals at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The small seconds dial remains at 6 o’clock while at 12 o’clock the power reserve indicator graduated up to 9 serves as a reminder that this timepiece has a caliber designed for performance. This ensures the smooth running and autonomy of the watch for 216 hours, or 9 days.
To guarantee such a long running time, the L.U.C 98.01-L manual-winding mechanical movement has two sets of stacked barrels. As with all the watches of the manufacture, the chronometer precision is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). While the manufacturing quality is certified by the demanding Geneva Seal.
The 50 pieces of this limited edition of the L.U.C Quattro come with a brown alligator strap finished with a pin buckle for an impeccable look.
