A MASTERPIECE OF MARINE DNA
Optimal clearness, harmonious lines recognizable at first glance, 72 hours’ power reserve. The manufacture’s great classic resurfaces… Tutti va bene!
2020 marks Panerai’s wish to return to its roots after devoting 2019 to its Submersible collection. The recently-unveiled Luminor Marina PAM01313 makes this resolution reality. This model brings together all the ever-so easily-identifiable stylistic features of the collection. We discover the 44 mm-diameter cushion-shaped satin-brushed steel case equipped with the famous crown-protecting bridge invented back in the 50s. Dial-side, the accent is on the layout of the time data. The hour and minute hands, forever true to the watch’s original spirit, hover over an airy hour chapter featuring the numerals 6, 9 and 12 as well as indexes. A small seconds offers a visual riposte to a date hosted at 4 o’clock. The ensemble is coated with high-performance Super-LumiNova® which emits a green glow and ensures excellent readability under any conditions of light (or dark). Moreover, the exquisite yet highly-practical blue hue and satin-brushed sunburst finish of the dial enhance the contrast. The screwed caseback boosts waterproofness which is around 300 meters.
Thanks to the existence of its twin barrels, the P.9010 caliber offers the watch autonomy of 3 days. This self-winding movement boasts a system for setting the hour hand rapidly. The hand can be moved in steps of one hour forwards or backwards whilst simultaneously setting the date.
The Luminor Marina PAM01313 is worn on a dark-blue alligator strap attached by a trapezoid pin buckle. A second complementary rubber strap is offered in the box.
