The winged hourglass brand is celebrating an anniversary with three outstanding timepieces. Two of them form exclusive limited series.
Celebrating an anniversary can seem like a rather delicate affair. Not for Longines, thanks to its long history and extensive expertise. So to mark the occasion of its 190 years of existence, the anniversary is being celebrated with a trio of watches featuring a common design that incorporates aesthetic details inherent to the Master Collection. On their sleek dial, leaf-shaped hour and minute hands point to an hour circle made up of slender, engraved Arabic numerals. Three very distinct variations are on offer. One joins the collection. It presents a sanded silver dial with traditional blued hands. This assembly integrates a steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 9.35mm thick. The same dimensions distinguish the case, which is machined in yellow or pink gold, depending on the version. These 190 limited editions are respectively graced with a vertical satin-finished gray dial and a grained anthracite dial. The hands and numerals echo the warm colors of the case.
All of these watches with their balanced lines are powered by the L888.5 caliber. This self-winding movement equipped with a silicon balance spring beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour. It offers a comfortable 72-hour power reserve. To enhance their refined personality, the Master Collection 190th Anniversary watches are worn on a slate-colored alligator leather wristband.
