MEMORIS SUPERLIGHT Louis Moinet

MEMORIS SUPERLIGHT Louis Moinet

A FEAST FOR THE EYES

The independent watchmakers workshops unveil this single pusher model in three limited editions boasting a titanium case mixed with components in really distinctive colors.

The Memoris watch, honored for its “coherent aesthetic vision of what beauty is” by the International Good Design Awards in 2017, also stands out with the incredible assembly of its LM79 movement: the chronograph part is actually separate from the self-winding mechanism. The components devoted to measuring time reign supreme here whilst the elements governing the movements of the hands for reading time are set beneath the baseplate. For its Memoris Superlight, Louis Moinet retains the same special layout now positioned in a 46 mm-diameter case crafted in titanium flaunting polished and satin-brushed finishes. The use of this material makes the case ever-so light, just 31 grams, and ever-so wearer-friendly.

A small seconds at 9 o’clock balances the composition center staging a totally mechanical scenescape. The column wheel is highlighted at 12 o’clock. This is what drives the chronograph’s three functions (start, stop, reset) triggered by a single pusher. As for the hour and minutes, they’re displayed in a colored disc set at 6 o’clock.
