For the 80th anniversary of the Ocean Star collection, MIDO presented an appealing limited edition with a vintage style. This spring, the brand unveils a development that emphasizes the versatile character of its diving watch and its ability to adapt. The Ocean Star 200C Carbon sports an entirely different, very contemporary personality, with its 42.5mm-diameter case and dial forged in carbon-fiber composite. A black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel decorated with a two-tone orange and gray scale reinforces its ability to tackle depths in safety. Light and robust, this model is waterproof to a depth of 200 meters thanks to its screwdown back, engraved here with a starfish. Readability is also optimal in all conditions of light thanks to hands and wide markers coated in white Super-LumiNova®.
All information, including the day and date, is driven by the Caliber 80. This automatic movement with its silicon spring insensitive to the effects of magnetic fields, offers a comfortable power reserve of 80 hours.
