CONSIDERABLE POWER OF ATTRACTION
After the sporty Overseas Automatique, it’s the turn of this contemporary and refined high-end watchmaking reference from the Geneva-based manufacture to take on precious regalia.
Did you like it in steel in 2019? Discover a whole new look for the Overseas Tourbillon thanks to the purity of the pink gold used throughout this new variation that is as technical as it is aesthetic, certified with a Geneva Seal for its excellence. With its rare elegance, its 42.5mm diameter case, only 10.39mm thick, houses a sublime translucent blue lacquered dial with a satin finish. Within this refined atmosphere, as with all Vacheron Constantin creations, the sword-shaped hour and minute hands are covered with luminescent material and the small seconds hand is housed on the tourbillon cage.
The ultra-thin caliber 2160, composed of 188 different parts, drives the time display with precision. The automatic movement, tuned at 18,000 vibrations per hour, delivers 80 hours of power reserve once wound. The sapphire backing of the case allows one to appreciate not only the architecture of the regulating mechanism but also the peripheral oscillating mass in 22-carat gold.
The Overseas Tourbillon rose gold is worn on a wristband whose links are machined from the same material as the case. The watch is also supplied with two additional straps. One is made of blue rubber and the second is made of alligator leather dyed in the same color. Both are fastened with a pin buckle, and are easily interchangeable without requiring the use of a tool, thanks to the ingenious integrated push-button system.
