EXCELLENCE IN FULL TRANSPARENCY
During Watches and Wonders Geneva, the manufacturer unveiled its very first model to feature a case and an integrated wristband machined entirely from titanium.
Overseas is Vacheron Constantin’s contemporary sport chic signature. This year, the collection takes on an unexpected appearance thanks to a new reference that is remarkable in more ways than one: the Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton. This is the first watch in this collection to feature the regulating mechanism in its rotating cage in a skeletonized composition. Lighter by 20% with respect to the initial caliber, the self-winding movement with a peripheral 2160 SQ gold oscillating weight was redesigned such that its components contribute to the aesthetics of the timepiece. The main plate, bridges, and cylinder, among other things, have been given an NAC galvanic surface treatment covering these parts in an elegant and modern anthracite gray.
On this open architecture appear fine hour and minute hands highlighted with luminescent material. This duo indicates markers also covered with Super-Luminova®. The entire assembly is housed in a 42.5mm diameter case.Vacheron Constantin offers two versions. One combines a pink gold case with a wristband made of the same precious material. The other, and this is a first for the manufacturer, is made entirely of titanium. Both come with an additional calf leather and rubber wristband in blue or black. Regardless of your preference, the Poinçon de Genève certification ensures the highest quality of assembly, finish, and reliability for both models.
