CUT OUT FOR VICTORY
To celebrate the 24 Hours of Spa which took place from July 29 to 01 August this year, the rebellious watchmaker unveiled two limited-series Predator pieces flying high the colors of the GPX Racing Team.
During the endurance race, organized on the Belgium’s legendary Spa-Francorchamps racetrack, Rebellion, GPX Racing’s partner, showcased two watches produced in small 20-piece editions. The Predator 3 Hands GPX Racing takes on the features of the original model brought to life through the inspirational sketches of designer Éric Giroud. To ensure optimal readability under any conditions of light, the hour and minute hands hover over rhodium-plated indexes coated with Super-LumiNova®. This time data comes into play in a scenescape that flies high the team’s iconic colors. In short, the multi-layered dial featuring a sky-blue honeycomb-patterned base is encircled by a vibrant red flange. The sequential seconds hand along with the ring set on the winding crown boast this same intense hue. A cobalt azure, in particular enhancing the eight logo-adorned screws positioned on the bezel, sets off the ensemble. The watch’s light, sturdy, 48 mm-diameter titanium case protects the automatic RE-9 caliber developed by Concepto.
As for the Predator S GPX Racing, it embraces automotive design that’s just as original and daring. Given its reduced 42 mm diameter, this up-to-the-minute, sporty titanium-fashioned piece suits all wrists. What’s more, it has everything it takes with its Swiss Made automatic movement.
To ensure ultra-comfortable, secure wearing, these two Predator editions are complemented by a vulcanized rubber strap attached by a folding clasp.
