As with the watches in the Swiss brand’s collection, this new addition has a timeless style, a touch of color, and a price that is as attractive as ever.
One should not change a winning formula. The success enjoyed by the PRX line of watches provides Tissot with the opportunity to offer new innovations that are just as captivating. One of them stands out for the omnipresence of its peppermint color. With this reference, we find again this singular aesthetic inspired by an emblematic model of the late 1970s. The 40mm-diameter steel case in a barrel shape is paired with a supple, comfortable integrated wristband made of large links machined from the same material as the case. The resolutely sporty chic styling is enhanced here by the pastel hue of the dial. On the upper surface, the duo of hour and minute hands dressed in luminescent paint point to an hour circle composed solely of hour markers. A discreet swift second hand hovers over this minimalist setting. The time data is completed by a date indicator displayed in a window at 3 o’clock.
All these functions are driven by a Swiss Made quartz movement. An end of life (EOL) battery indicator informs when it is time to change the Renata 371 battery. The seconds hand will begin to jump every four seconds. As a reminder, PR stands for “Precise and Robust”, the Roman numeral X designates the depth to which the watch is waterproof, in this case 100 meters.
