IMAGINED FOR THE WORLD OF SILENCE
Tissot invites aficionados of aquatic depths and nautical style to discover a novel dive watch combining high precision and incredible reliability.
Diving in total safety means being accompanied by a watch boasting optimal performances. To meet this challenge, Tissot proposes its Seastar 2000 Professional to sea and ocean explorers. Its 46 mm-diameter steel case equipped with a screwed crown is waterproof to depths of 600 m. This case is topped by a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring a black ceramic insert. Furthermore, it also integrates a helium escape valve. This device opens once pressure between 3 to 5 bars is reached. It enables fine particles of gas contained inside the watch to escape.
Time data is driven by the Powermatic 80 caliber. This selfwinding movement delivers a comfortable power reserve of 80 hours and also houses a balance-spring crafted in a titanium-based alloy, Nivachron® immune to effects of magnetic fields. All the features of this new reference meet the criteria of the ISO 6425 certification that stipulates if a timepiece is fit for underwater excursions.
This high-tech Seastar 2000 Professional is also wonderfully stylish. The hour and minute hands coated with azure-glowing white Super-LumiNova® hover over a gradient blue-toned dial adorned with an engraved wave pattern. This model can be worn on a choice of a rubber strap or a steel bracelet attached respectively by an ardillon buckle and a folding clasp.
