READY FOR ANY CHALLENGE
Push yourself to the limit. With you through any test, on land or sea, that’s Breitling’s promise, with this athletic limited series.
Swim 2.4 miles, pedal 112 miles, run a marathon. The challenge is gargantuan. Throughout the year, triathlons are organized by the Ironman company, which takes its name from the most famous event which takes place in Hawaii. From this summer, Breitling becomes the official watch brand of these extraordinary competitions. To mark this partnership, the watchmaker presents a Superocean Automatic 44 Ironman crafted for the occasion. This model brings together all the collection’s best features, a solid case waterproof up to 1,000m, here in 44mm diameter steel, combined with an ultra-legible face. A unidirectional ratchet bezel confirms that this model is truly a diving instrument. It encircles the time information displayed by the hour hand, minute hand and a central second hand. This trio points to the oversized figures and index, covered with a Super-LumiNova® luminous inlay.
The hands are powered by the 17 caliber. The chronometer of this automatic bidirectional mechanical winding movement is certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). It also ensures a power reserve that is more than sufficient to finish the endurance race, 38 hours.
The “One of 300” engraving and the Ironman logo on the back of the case are reminders that this is a limited edition. Each piece is worn on a Diver Pro III red rubber strap finished with a pin buckle.
