The brand from the city of Saint-Imier is expanding its range of timeless watches perfect for underwater exploration with new variations of dials in elegant colors.
A pillar of the Longines collections since 2007, the Longines Legend Diver Watch remains firmly rooted in its era. While its appearance is reminiscent of an historical model from the 1960s, with its famous mobile ring that is quite practical when diving to avoid any untimely manipulation, it has evolved thanks to the use of colors in keeping with the times. This year, the winged hourglass brand is introducing a number of new versions. The 42mm diameter steel case, water-resistant to a depth of 300 meters, is now offered with sandy beige or ash gray gradient lacquered dials. The 36mm models are finished in royal blue, deep burgundy, or ecru, also with a gradient. Each timepiece is worn on a matching colored wristband.
All of these 2022 vintage timepieces maintain optimal legibility of time data, thanks in particular to their white Super-Luminova®-coated markers, hands, and numerals.
All these versions are driven by self-winding mechanisms equipped with a silicon balance spring that is insensitive to the negative effects of gravity. The larger of the two models is powered by the L888.5 caliber providing 72 hours of power reserve. The watches designed for women’s wrists are equipped with the L592.5 caliber offering 45 hours of autonomy.
