A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE
This exceptional timepiece, with its impeccable aesthetics and high chronometric performance, successfully meets the challenge of the modern world.
The 24-second tourbillon is one of Grebeul Forsey’s technical hallmarks. For many years now, the brand’s catalog has been enlivened by creations with a singular and original aesthetic, such as the Tourbillon 24 Seconds Contemporain. Now, with the Tourbillon 24 Seconds Architecture model, the skilled watchmakers offer a new interpretation of the regulating organ through a truly original, open, and stepped construction. Thus, its 47.05mm diameter case with convex profile combines titanium and sapphire to better highlight the complex caliber assembled with 354 components. Many of them can be seen thanks to the absence of a dial, in particular the 25° inclined tourbillon located at 6 o’clock. The ensemble is overlaid by a duo of openworked hour and minute hands. A small second hand at 6 o’clock completes the time indications.
All the elements are finished in a manner worthy of fine watchmaking so as to contribute to the design of the timepiece. Its manual winding movement is also noteworthy for its performance. Under a cover engraved at 10 o’clock, three coaxial fast-rotating cylinders are coupled in series. The energy provided ensures a generous chronometric power reserve of 90 hours. An indicator at 3 o’clock provides information on the optimum operating time available. In order to emphasize the exclusive personality of the Tourbillon 24 Seconds Architecture, only 11 pieces will be produced this year. Eighteen pieces will then be finished each year between 2023 and 2025.
