For this edition limited to just 100 timepieces, the watchmaker is introducing for the first time one of its references in a precious metal, rose gold. Elegance remains the order of the day!
As the pillar of the Armin Strom collections, the Tribute 1 watch has been encapsulating the technical and aesthetic identity of the independent brand since its launch in 2021. For this new variation with its highly refined appeal, the off-center layout of the dial on which the hour and minute hands are positioned is once again prominent. It features a black gold glittering surface distinguished from the light emitted by the grained finish of the main dial in anthracite tones. The cylinder is supported by its stylized bridge and remains positioned at 5 o’clock. The engraving “100 hours of power reserve” stamped on it underlines the caliber’s performance, which is now housed in a slim case measuring 38mm in diameter and 9.38mm thick, machined in rose gold. By way of reminder, this precious alloy has a delicate hue possessing a beautiful resistance to the vagaries of time thanks to its combination of metals, 75% yellow gold, 20% copper, and 5% silver.
The movement exposes a number of its 135 components through the sapphire case back, such as the three-quarter bridge decorated with Geneva waves. It is wound manually by means of a crown positioned at 2 o’clock. This mechanism stands out thanks to its specific architecture, including a flat spring and a variable inertia balance enabling the Tribute 1 to run for four days. Each of the 100 timepieces in this series is fitted with a black alligator leather wristband finished with a double folding clasp in rose gold-coated steel. This warm-toned combination is a perfect complement to any impeccable attire.
