DAZZLING BRIGHT
Just like the other latest creations from the Geneva-based manufacture, this remarkable 2021-vintage trio boasts everything it takes to transform a watch into a piece of top-class jewelry.
When the Twenty-4 collection was launched back in 1999, it was only made up of rectangular-shaped models whose design drew its inspiration from cuff watches. One of the newcomers showcased by Patek Philippe as this year breaks through is the 4910/1201R-001 which perpetuates this stylistic choice. This timepiece, imagined for the most elegant wrists, combines a double gadroon case enhanced with two vertical rows of 17 diamonds and a rose gold bracelet with a chocolate-brown dial. As with its predecessors, the pair of Super-LumiNova®-coated white gold “rounded baton” type hands is driven by an E15 quartz movement.
Although it was only in 2018 that the range was complemented by round-case watches equipped with mechanical movements, the Geneva-based manufacture would then go on to propose a host of superbly-elegant variations. The two other pieces unveiled this year continue to embrace their characteristic precious adornments, this time around a 36 mm-diameter case. One, reference 7300/1200A-011, blends a steel case with deep olive green adornments, the other, reference 7300/1200R-011, espouses rose gold and a golden face dressed in the same hue. The time data, hours, minutes and date, is driven by the selfwinding 324 S C caliber which delivers a power reserve of between 35 and 45 hours.
Another feature this duo shares is that their bezels are sprinkled with a myriad of diamonds, 160 brilliant-cut Pure Top Wesselton. No better way to dazzle bright in public, day and night!
