FLY HIGH THE COLORS!
To accompany vintage motor fans in their passion, the rebellious watchmakers invite them to discover a tri-colored creation which is definitely a collector.
For the third year in a row, Rebellion takes on the precious role of official timekeeper for the Tour Auto Optic 2000 and accompanies gentlemen drivers on the finest roads in France. This legendary rally is celebrating its 30th edition this year and takes participants on a five-stage race from Paris to Nice. To celebrate the event, the Swiss watchmaker proposes a 20-piece limited edition which flies high the colors of the French flag: the Twenty-One Three Hands Tour Auto 2021. What makes it stand out? Its dial flaunts bold graphics like a cockade, blue, white, red, adorned with the race logo. Above ,the time data, the hours, minutes and seconds as well as a date aperture set at 3 o’clock come alive in a decor inspired by the two-spoke steering wheels of vintage sports cars. This graphical scenescape ensures the three poppy-colored hands are ever-so easy to read.
Just like the other models in the collection, the elegant 46.95 mm-diameter steel-crafted cushion-shaped case protects a Swiss Made caliber beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations an hour, i.e. 4 Hz. Once fully wound, this automatic movement delivers a minimum 38 hours’ power reserve to the timepiece.
The watch is worn on a rubber strap, available in blue or white, clasped by an ardillon buckle. Worth noting too, just like last year, a Wraith Drive chronograph and a RE-Volt are also available in an exclusive Tour Auto series.
